Welcome to the world Baby Mariam!

Congratulations to Lorem Ipsum...a blogger friend from way back (former blog author of Life is Sweet, Baby).

Baby Mariam arrived this morning (12/21) at 255 am. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 10 oz., measures 19.5" long, and looks like Daddy's clone except for a ton of dark brown hair and being female, of course. Mom and Dad are over the moon.

I'm so happy for you all!

Thank you, everyone! I'm in shock myself... haven't written in a long time, and what little I have on other blog(s) has had little or no mention of my 'condition' over the past nine months. Even as I saw Mariam emerge Friday morning (via mirror) I still couldn't stop saying, 'Is she all right? Is she alive?' And she is. She is, she is, she is.

I've put up a few pictures on the LISB blog. Enjoy.
