Welcome to the world Baby Mariam!

Congratulations to Lorem Ipsum...a blogger friend from way back (former blog author of Life is Sweet, Baby).

Baby Mariam arrived this morning (12/21) at 255 am. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 10 oz., measures 19.5" long, and looks like Daddy's clone except for a ton of dark brown hair and being female, of course. Mom and Dad are over the moon.

I'm so happy for you all!

WOW, this really has been a special, amazing year in the IF blogging community. I miss Lorem and just feel so delighted that she finally got her baby after everything she went through. She's one classy lady and I wish her a glorious journey in motherhood. Thanks for sharing the news Catherine. You're a gem. xx

Thank you, everyone! I'm in shock myself... haven't written in a long time, and what little I have on other blog(s) has had little or no mention of my 'condition' over the past nine months. Even as I saw Mariam emerge Friday morning (via mirror) I still couldn't stop saying, 'Is she all right? Is she alive?' And she is. She is, she is, she is.

I've put up a few pictures on the LISB blog. Enjoy.
