Let me tell you something

C just paid a visit to our office...and stood in the hallway talking about her pregnancy with another coworker, S. C doesn't see the point of having an ultrasound every month.

Think I should tell her what the point is?

(Don't worry...I didn't.)

Yes, why should she? What a waste of her day, to schedule those appointments. And insurance claims. [sarcasm]And those annoying pictures and video of her baby to just clutter up her life. Yes, really. What is the point.[/sarcasm]

Wow even before finding my own personal hell I wouldn't have understood her feelings. I would check out the baby every day if it were practical! Glad you held your tongue though.

I am also tempted to weigh in on those types of conversations in a way that the participants probably wouldn't appreciate...

With C's pregnancy, I worried that too many u/s would cause hearing damage. With BB's pregnancy I worried that we wouldn't catch something if we went too long between them. I had 4 u/s with C and over 10 with BB. I looked at them every chance I could get.
