You're not going to believe this but when I as growing up, my family had ice cream and cake for dinner every Sunday night. It was a lot of fun!
And no, neither my brother nor I had any nutritional problems or obesity issues.

Re mommy/daddy -- we do that too, even though before having kids it weirded me out to hear it and i swore never to do it!
Once my family did sundae Sunday and had sundaes for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was great... although i was a little disappointed that i actually found myself asking for some normal food about an hour later.
And ice cream for dinner... i used to do that, especially when i was single. I figured... I know I want ice cream, and dinner will just be extra calories.. so i'll just skip real food and move right into the ice cream.
