THE conversation

So we talked about it.

There were tears.

We don't want to adopt right now. And I don't want to be pregnant right now.

Sam will probably go to school in August and we'll save some of that daycare money for a bit...and save up some vacation time (without doctor appointments or funerals to attend).

So I guess that's that. For right now anyway.

I feel relieved. So I think this is the right decision for now.

I'm glad you're relieved. You deserve that. And IF, Sam ends up an only child....it's not the worse thing in the world. I'm an only. You can't miss what you don't have.

We do the best we can with what we have, maybe you'll change your mind soon, maybe not, but a little stress relief is good.

Good. Relief is good.

A friend told me that if I feel relief upon making any decision, it's the right decision.

I envy your feeling of relief.

Those conversations are impossibly hard. I'm so sorry you had to have one, but I'm very glad there was some relief afterwards.

Lots of (((((((((HUGS))))))))))

Hard I agree but I understand only too well that feeling of relief. It is a good sign in my humble opinion. good luck with sticking to it :)

I am glad that making a decision feels good... i hope it takes some anxiety out of your life. Less anxiety is always a good thing.

I'm sure that was a difficult conversation. You've definitely earned a real vacation.

I'm glad you feel some relief.
