THE conversation

So we talked about it.

There were tears.

We don't want to adopt right now. And I don't want to be pregnant right now.

Sam will probably go to school in August and we'll save some of that daycare money for a bit...and save up some vacation time (without doctor appointments or funerals to attend).

So I guess that's that. For right now anyway.

I feel relieved. So I think this is the right decision for now.

We do the best we can with what we have, maybe you'll change your mind soon, maybe not, but a little stress relief is good.

A friend told me that if I feel relief upon making any decision, it's the right decision.

I envy your feeling of relief.

Those conversations are impossibly hard. I'm so sorry you had to have one, but I'm very glad there was some relief afterwards.

Hard I agree but I understand only too well that feeling of relief. It is a good sign in my humble opinion. good luck with sticking to it :)

I am glad you made a decision and you felt relief...i think you are right, that does mean it is the right decision (for now, anyway)...
