OK...where are my sign believers?
This afternoon, while walking our foster dalmatian, I noticed a beautiful bluejay feather on the ground. As I contemplated picking it up for Sam, I nearly stepped on a snake
This morning I pulled the blank rune.
I just don't have a good feeling.

Well I just looked up rune meanings and this is what I found:
"Blank Rune: There is no historical support for a "Blank Rune" in runic divination. It was invented in the 1980's. It should not be used in rune casting. If you bought a rune set with a blank piece, save it in case you lose another rune piece but don't use it in rune casting."
So I guess that means that it can be whatever you want it to be since it is only a replacement rune.
And as far as the snake goes: did it bite you? I'd say it was a good sign if you weren't actually attacked by the snake.
How was that my friend?
Thanks, Holley, I was going to google runes to see what it meant, too. :-)
Maybe the blank could be construed as a new beginning, for use as you design it.
Kath, would you have noticed the snake if you hadn't of seen the feather? I think that is a good sign. And I, like, you know, belive in signs and shit.
What they said.....every time something really crappy happens (apart from the obvious which can in no way be rationalised) my sister tells me it has happened to stop something even crapper happening. Like when my car blew up, she said it may have stopped me from being in a horrible accident on the way home.
I dunno, the whole glass empty/glass full thing and all that. But that beautiful feather made you look down and not step on the snake. Hope you said thanks to Alex;)
