When I read the words I automatically finished it with 'go together'.
Pain and hope go together.
I disagree. Payne is such a common American name you're bound to find it in most any cemetery.
Concentrate on the 'Hopes.'
my read: when you have hope, you risk pain. but the risk is worth it.
