I took a picture like that here when the Cub was a few scant months old. It nearly broke me to take it and then to look at it later-- reading to her baby brother was one of the things Monkey was looking forward to the most when I was pregnant with A. We used to make such a big deal of if, particularly as a way of encouraging her to improve her Old Country language reading skills. I've meant to write about that on the blog for nearly 10 months now...
