Worry

So today I'm wearing a Dividends maternity dress that gives my belly plenty of room (see yesterday's problem with pants). Trouble is, now my belly has lots of room. Without the squish factor, I don't feel GB moving around as much (if at all). gah! This is too hard!

Go and buy some snug (but flexible)full cut undies...that might help. I remember how reassuring those taps and movements were.

Go eat some candy--give GB a nice sugar rush (don't fret about the gestational diabetes for one day.

I used one of those belly bands for a long time before I switched over to maternity pants. Maybe wearing one of those (even under a dress?) might give you that reassuring, snug feeling?

My favorite maternity pants are from the Gap (which I never shop regularly--oh, and not the jeans but the khakis and capris) but because of the way they are designed, they have the stretchy panels on the side(not the waist) and the waist is adjustable with buttons so you can wear them from when you are just starting to really show, to full blown belly, and I even wore them last week post-partum and no one knew they were maternity.

I agree with basilbean, get a tummy sleeve (or bella band), maybe that will help. I wish it were easier.

I wish you did not have to worry so much. You do have a doppler right? If so I say carry it around with you and if you get worried just take a listen. I wish this was easier for you.

The worry pops up from the most unexpected things, doesn't it? I bet you look great today. AJW's comment seems useful - maybe the others, too but I know that baby movements or not, I absolutely cannot stand to have waist bands on my pregnant belly.

I second the snug undies! Hugs to you, Kate.
