OMG-unbelievable. I did jury duty back in January, and went in all smug thinking that since I was a lawyer, no one would ever put me on a jury. Wrong. Seems like I wasn't the right kind of lawyer-if I'd done personal injury, etc. not a chance. In-house counsel? No problem. It was illuminating though-and made me happy to return to my cell, er, glorified cubicle.

ROTFL!!
That is hysterical. I'm picturing you running back and forth between the jury box and your table.
I know the jury summons officers have heard every excuse in the book. Wonder if they've heard yours?
That is just tooooo funny!! What are the chances???? Bet it won't take you long to get this straightened out!
So funny! Gretchen asked what I was going to ask--this probably is a new one to the summons officers! :-)
At least it gives you a pretty good excuse for getting out of ury duty. (though, I admit, I would love to be a juror)
Can you get out of it if you wanted??
well what are the odds of that happening?!

LOL! Do you think they'll excuse you?
That's hilarious! I hope they pick you! ;-)
